Why do I need a home inspection?

When you bought your policy, we gathered a lot of data about your home. But did we get it right? Nothing provides greater reassurance than a home inspection. We’ll make sure all info is accurate and if needed, we can make adjustments, like adding discounts or suggesting coverage changes. We may also point out any problem areas in need of some TLC, saving you from surprise damage down the line. You’ll feel reassured your home is properly insured.

A certified drone pilot will arrive to your home to walk the property, collecting ground and aerial images of your home, including the roof and other hard to reach places. After the inspection is complete, a report is generated on the spot and sent back to the Mother Ship (us).

2. Inspection Ordered

An inspection is ordered immediately after you purchase your policy.

3. INSPECTION SCHEDULED

The inspection will be performed on or around your policy effective date.

4. INSPECTION COMPLETE

A certified drone pilot will arrive at your home. The whole process takes about 30 minutes to complete.

5. NOTIFICATION

We’ll review the results and your agent will notify you only if needed.

6. THE END.

*In some cases, we may conduct another inspection when your policy renews. We will notify you at renewal if needed.

 Interior Inspections

Sometimes, we’ll need to take a look inside your home, typically if your home is older or has unique characteristics. In these cases, we’ll schedule an interior inspection.
